  1. PURPOSE

The purpose of the study is an effective recruitment and selection process reduces expenses. These processes match up the right person with the right job skills. Interviews and background checks ensure that Hinduja Global Solutions Company employee a candidate who is reliable and carries out the objectives the company planned for providing quality services and goods to its customers.

 

  1. AIM

The aim of this study is to ensure that a transparent and unbiased recruitment and selection process is followed in Hinduja Global Solutions, one that results in the appointment of the best candidate, based solely on merit and best-fit with the organizational values, philosophy, and goals.

Five good reasons for having such a study are to ensure:      

  • Job descriptions meet business requirements;
  • Candidates are assessed against consistent selection criteria at every stage;
  • The recruitment process is lawful;
  • The candidate can be confident it is a genuine job offer; and
  • The process can be followed by all stakeholders.
  1. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

1.To identify the sources of recruitment followed by the Hinduja Global Solutions.

  1. To evaluate people with multi-dimensional skills and experiences that suits the present and future organizational strategies.
  2. To evaluate structure of recruitment and selection process.
  3. To estimate the satisfaction level of employees regarding recruitment and selection being followed by the company.
  4. To estimate the rate how well HR in Hinduja Global Solutions finds good candidates from non-traditional sources when necessary.
  5. To estimate the rate the HR department performance in recruitment and selection.
  6. To estimate the rate the effectiveness of the interviewing process and other selection instruments, such as testing.

 

  1. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

 

RESEARCH DESIGN:

The research design will be used in this study is both ‘Descriptive’ and ‘exploratory’.

DATA COLLECTION METHODS:

The data will be collected using both by primary data collection methods as well as secondary sources.

PRIMARY DATA: Most of the information will be gathered through primary sources.

The methods that will be used to collect primary data are:

SECONDARY DATA: Secondary data that will be used are web sites and published materials related to recruitment and selection at Hinduja Global Solutions, Bangalore.

SAMPLING TECHNIQUE: The selection of respondents will be done on the basis of convenience sampling (Non- Probability).

 

STASTICAL TOOLS:

MS-EXCEL will be used to prepare pie- charts and graphs and MS-WORD will be used to prepare or write the whole project report.

 

METHOD YOU WILL USE TO PRESENT DATA:

Data Analysis & Interpretation – Classification & tabulation transforms the raw data collected through questionnaire in to useful information by organizing and compiling the bits of data contained in each questionnaire i.e., observation and responses are converted in to understandable and orderly statistics are used to organize and analyze the data:

  • Simple tabulation of data using tally marks.
  • Calculating the percentage of the responses.
  • Formula used = (no. of responses / total responses) * 100

Graphical analysis by means of pie charts bar graphs etc.
