Introduction to MUJ BBA Project Work

The BBA Project Work is an essential component of the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ). The objective of this project is to help students apply theoretical management concepts to real-world business problems using a scientific research approach.

The project is divided into two phases:

  • Project Synopsis & Guide Registration (Phase I)
  • Final Project Work & Viva Voce (Phase II)

Students must strictly follow MUJ’s official guidelines to avoid rejection or re-submission of the project

Phase I: Project Synopsis & Guide Registration

Project Synopsis Submission

The project synopsis must be submitted online through the LMS portal after approval from the project guide. It should clearly define the scope, objectives, and research methodology of the project.

Contents of Project Synopsis

Project Guide Eligibility

The project guide must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Minimum Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent)
  2. At least 3 years of teaching or industry experience
  3. Minimum 55% marks in postgraduate studies
  4. Guide must be approved by MUJ’s Project Steering Committee (PSC)

Steps to Submit Project Synopsis

  1. Login to LMS portal
  2. Select “Project Synopsis”
  3. Fill project details and guide information
  4. Print, sign (student & guide), and scan the form
  5. Upload PDF (max size: 3MB)
  6. Submit for PSC approval

Phase II: Project Work & Final Report

After synopsis approval, students can begin Phase II – Project Work.

Components of the BBA Project Report

The final project report must include:

  1. Title of the Project
  2. Introduction
  3. Objectives of the Study
  4. Literature Review
  5. Research Methodology
  6. Data Analysis & Interpretation
  7. Results & Discussion
  8. Suggestions / Recommendations
  9. Limitations & Scope of Future Research
  10. Conclusion
  11. Bibliography (APA Style)

Executive Summary

An Executive Summary (500 words) must be submitted separately and should include:

  1. Project Title
  2. Objectives
  3. Research Methodology
  4. Major Findings
  5. Suggestions
