    1. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The purpose of the Emergency Management Plan is to define the Emergency Management<\/strong> Program, which can respond effectively to events that pose an immediate danger to the health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors. The Emergency Management Plan consists of a number of procedures designed to respond to those situations most likely to disrupt the normal operations of the hospital and return the hospital to a normal status. An Emergency Management Plan is meant to be an all hazards plan and is designed for each emergency identified in the Hazards Vulnerability Analysis (HVA) that could impact the operation of the hospital. The Emergency Management Plan is developed to assure availability of resources for the continuation of patient care during an emergency. The Plan also addresses the medical needs of victims of a hospital or community based incident.<\/p>\n

      1. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Fixing the objective is like identifying the star. The objective decides where we want to go, what we want to achieve and what is our goal or destination.<\/p>\n

        1. To analyze & study the Emergency Management plan of the Fortis Hospital.<\/li>\n
        2. To device an Emergency Management plan which assures appropriate, effective response to a variety of emergency situations that could affect the safety of patients, staff & Visitors.<\/li>\n
        3. To study the benefit of emergency planning & management in health care industry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Scope:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          My Scope of study is very wide. The study will defined as comprehensive study of emergency planning & management in Fortis Hospital, Kolkata.<\/p>\n

          1. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Research methodology in a way is a written game plan for conducting research. Research methodology has many dimensions. I would use the methodology according to the project field. Like my project is related to the health and service back round so I would use the researches that will be done on the emergency planning & management in Fortis Hospital, Kolkata.<\/p>\n

            RESEARCH DESIGN<\/strong>: – The research design used in this study is both \u2018Descriptive\u2019 and \u2018exploratory\u2019<\/p>\n

            \u00a0<\/strong>METHODOLOGY ADOPTED<\/strong>: This research will be aimed at studying the emergency planning & management in Fortis Hospital, Kolkata.<\/p>\n

            METHOD YOU WILL USE TO CLASSIFY:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            PRIMARY DATA<\/strong>: Most of the information will be gathered through primary sources\u2019. The methods that will be used to collect primary data are: Questionnaire and online interviews.<\/p>\n

            SECONDARY DATA<\/strong>: The secondary data will be collected through:<\/p>\n

            Books that have been published on the health care and services<\/p>\n

            Lectures that have been given on emergency planning & management in health care.<\/p>\n

            Notes and handout that have been made on the emergency planning & management in Fortis Hospital, Kolkata.<\/p>\n

            \u00a0<\/strong>CONVENIENT SAMPLING: <\/strong>it is that type of sampling where the researcher selects the sample according to his or her convenience.<\/p>\n

            \u00a0<\/strong>METHOD YOU WILL USE TO PRESENT DATA: <\/strong>Data collection will be done through questionnaire. The Ms-Excel & Ms-word software will be used to analyze the data. Different types of graphs & Charts use to interpretation the findings diagrammatically, calculating the percentage of the responses. Formula, diagrams they are:<\/p>\n
